Carefully Building on the already build Foundation
At ACK Diocese of Butere, we are steadfastly building upon the unshakable foundation that God has laid in the person of Jesus Christ. Christ is the bedrock of our faith, and it is upon this unyielding foundation that we seek to construct our lives and our community. The question we must ask ourselves is how are we building on this foundation? Are we skilled and wise builders, faithfully nurturing our spiritual growth? As we build, we must be cautious and intentional, focusing on endeavors that contribute to the growth of Christ’s body and kingdom.
It is imperative that we recognize the significance of the foundation God has provided in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We are all called to actively build upon this foundation, ensuring that our efforts align with the purpose and principles of our faith. However, at times, we may lose sight of our true focus, succumbing to misguided motives and intentions, which can unfortunately afflict the present state of the church.
Therefore, it is essential to remind and encourage one another of the promises of Jesus Christ, continuously striving for holiness and growth in our personal faith. Additionally, we must remain diligent in expanding our gospel witness to those beyond our immediate community. Each one of us bears the responsibility to labor in building up, reaching out, and pioneering new efforts, so that Jesus Christ, the Firm Foundation, the embodiment of all that matters, can be proclaimed, exalted, and glorified.
This is our mission—to carry the Good News of Christ with us wherever we go, sharing the message of love, hope, and redemption with all we encounter. In doing so, we strengthen our congregation and extend the impact of Christ’s teachings far beyond the walls of our church.
Let us be intentional in our building efforts, mindful of the eternal significance of our actions. Together, we will continue to construct a thriving community centered around the unwavering foundation of Jesus Christ, embodying His love and grace in all that we do.
