Family, friends, clergy, and members of the community gathered at her home in Elukanji Village to bid a final farewell to Mama Daktari Eunice Abigael Omukasia Kwache, whose life was celebrated as a remarkable testimony of perseverance, commitment, and unconditional love.
The funeral service was presided over by the Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno, Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Butere. In her message of comfort and hope, Bishop Okeno encouraged the bereaved family to remain steadfast in the Lord, drawing from Philippians 4:4: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” She reminded mourners that even in moments of grief, Christians are called to find strength and hope in God’s unfailing presence and the promise of eternal life.
Bishop Okeno also paid tribute to the late Mama Eunice, describing her as a woman whose life reflected resilience, faithful service, and selfless love for her family and community. She urged those present to emulate her virtues and continue living lives that honour God and positively impact others.
As the late Mama Eunice Abigael Omukasia Kwache was laid to rest, heartfelt tributes and prayers were offered in thanksgiving for a life well lived, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
