
Bukolwe Senior School officially bade farewell to Madam Lilian Pesa, the Head of Institution and Lay Secretary of Synod of the ACK Diocese of Butere, as she retired after 36 years of dedicated service under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
The colourful Thanksgiving celebration brought together family, colleagues, friends, and church leaders. The service was presided over by The Rt. Rev. Isaiah Obuya, Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Nambale, representing The Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno. Preaching from Numbers 8:25, Bishop Obuya reminded the congregation that retirement marks a transition into a new season of continued service, mentorship, and impact.

In her message, Bishop Rose Okeno congratulated Madam Lilian for her faithful service in both education and the Church, thanking her for her dedicated leadership as Lay Secretary of Synod of the ACK Diocese of Butere She wished her God’s blessings, good health, and a fulfilling retirement.
