On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Diocese of Butere held the KAMA Biennial Meeting at St. Luke’s Cathedral to review the department’s progress and discuss the challenges affecting its ministry.
The service was led by Rose Okeno, who taught from Acts 6:1–6 under the theme, “Having Our Focus Right.” She emphasized the importance of understanding the purpose of ministry and encouraged the selection of leaders based on spiritual maturity, wisdom, and knowledge of God. She further urged leaders to remain focused despite distractions, noting that proper organization and delegation promote growth and strengthen the ministry of Christ.

The meeting was also attended Diocesan BUCODET staff who encouraged greater participation of men in church activities while appreciating the role of BUCODET in promoting savings, access to loans, and personal development among members.
A new set of KAMA leadership was elected as follows:
- Mr. Partrick Ambunya- Chairman
- Mr. Rodgers Chite- Secretary
- Mr. Jared Akali – Treasurer
- Mr. Karani- representing young men.
