Diligent and Focused on Progress: Diocesan KAMA Treasurer David Aloyo Eulogized

The late David Aloyo, the Diocesan KAMA Treasurer of the ACK Diocese of Butere, will be remembered as a diligent and punctual person who consistently focused on progress. His passing has been described by close family members as a significant loss to the family.

During a requiem service held at ACK St. Stephen’s Mulwanda Parish on Wednesday morning, family spokesperson Howard Aloyo emphasized that David was a steadfast pillar of the family, upholding values of respect and integrity. He highlighted David’s commitment to education, noting that as a professional teacher, he ensured that his children and those in the community achieved high academic standards, graduating from various universities.

The service was presided over by Ven. Canon Peter Andere, the Archdeacon of Mulwanda, who remarked on the profound loss to the church community. He acknowledged David’s efforts in mobilizing church development activities that contributed to its growth.

David Aloyo served as the Chairperson of the Parish Education Board and also held the same position at the Namasoli Deanery Education Board. He is survived by his wife, Mary Shisia, and their eight children. David died at the age of 67 and will be laid to rest at his home in Mulwanda, Khwisero Sub-County, on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
