Bishop Rose Okeno extended her condolences to the family of the Diocesan Administrative Secretary, Rev. Canon Silas Hopillo and his wife Rev. Dr. Gladys Hopillo, at their residence in Shirali, Khwisero sub-county following the passing of their daughter, Claire Akiso.

The Bishop offered assurances of God’s protection and comfort during this difficult time. Accompanying the Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno were The Very Rev. Moses Omoke, along with several clergy members and senior secretariat from the diocese.

The late Claire Akiso will be laid to rest on Friday, November 13, 2025.
