ACK Diocese of Butere convened a diocesan staff meeting that brought together staff members from across the Diocese at West Kenya Hall.
The meeting was chaired by Bishop Rose Okeno, who emphasized the importance of institutional accountability, professionalism, unity, and adherence to diocesan policies in advancing the mission of the Church. She encouraged staff to uphold ethical standards and work collaboratively in their respective roles.
The forum provided an opportunity for staff to engage with key diocesan governance frameworks that guide operations and service delivery. Various stakeholders facilitated comprehensive sessions on the Diocese’s core policies, including the Finance Policy, Safeguarding Policy, and the Human Resource/Administrative Policy. These presentations aimed at enhancing staff understanding of procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices in service delivery within the Diocese.

Overall, the meeting served as a vital capacity-building platform, reinforcing transparency, safeguarding, effective human resource and administrative management, and strengthening collaboration among diocesan staff as they collectively work towards fulfilling the Church’s mission.
