Bishop Rose Okeno has passionately appealed to the clergy of the ACK Diocese of Butere to make their church services truly captivating in order to invite the presence of God.
During the bi-monthly clergy chapter fellowship at St. Luke’s Cathedral in Butere, Bishop Okeno emphasized the importance of actively participating in services guided by the Anglican liturgy. She encouraged the clergy to lead lively and engaging services that will inspire congregants to worship wholeheartedly.
Furthermore, Rt. Rev. Okeno urged clergy members to fully grasp the significance of each service and prayer item, with the ultimate goal of pointing people to Jesus Christ. She emphasized the importance of serving the Lord with dedication and passion, in order to fulfill the mission of proclaiming, renewing, and discipling.
The clergy chapter fellowship serves as a valuable opportunity for diocesan clergy to come together to reflect on ministry with the shared goal of upholding the great commission . The next clergy chapter fellowship is scheduled for January 2025.
