Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at ACK Diocese of Butere!
Our mission is to create an age-appropriate environment where children, ages 0 to 12, can learn foundational truths about God and discover how they fit into His wonderful plan for the earth. We firmly believe that we are shaping the next generation of leaders, and our goal is to engage, excite, enlighten, and empower them for kingdom service and success.

Our Objective:
Our ministry seeks to minister to the spiritual, physical, relational (emotional, intellectual), and needs of every child. We understand that each child is uniquely gifted and designed by God, and we aim to help them discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents to honor Him and fulfill His plan for their lives.
Core Values:
God-Given Gifts and Talents: We believe that God has placed special gifts and talents within each child to help them do their best and positively influence and inspire others.
Honoring God and Fulfilling His Plan: We teach children that they were created to honor God and play a significant role in fulfilling His divine plan for their lives.
Wisdom for Positive Influence: We instill in children the wisdom to positively influence their peers and surroundings, spreading God’s love and kindness.
Scriptural Context:
We base our ministry on biblical principles, drawing inspiration from passages such as Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:7, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Isaiah 54:13, and Matthew 5:16. These scriptures guide us in training children in the way they should go, diligently teaching them God’s Word, and instilling in them the love for His teachings.
Age-Appropriate Classes:
We offer engaging and age-appropriate classes for every stage of a child’s development:
Nursery and Kinder-Church (Ages 0 – 4): In this early stage, we introduce our little ones to God through songs, prayers, and confessions, nurturing their love for the Lord from an early age.
Elementary (Ages 5 – 8): At this stage, we incite wonder and curiosity as we discuss God’s original plan and present the first offer of salvation. We ignite their passion for God through an introduction to the Holy Spirit and engaging praise and worship sessions.
Teens Brigade (Ages 9 – 12): Our older groups focus on deeper learning. In the Intermediate class, we immerse them in the Word, teaching them about the characteristics of God and nurturing healthy spiritual habits like prayer and Bible reading. In the Juniors class, we inspire them for kingdom service and success through teachings on leadership, potential, and responsibility.
