The ACK Diocese of Butere today hosted a delegation from the Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK), led by the Secretary General and CEO, Dr. Chris Barasa, on a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration, monitoring and evaluating ongoing programs, and exploring opportunities to enhance quality, faith-based healthcare services.

The delegation was received by The Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno at the Diocesan Offices before touring ACK Namasoli Health Centre, where they commended the facility’s progress and the dedication of its staff in providing quality healthcare services. The team also interacted with Linda Msichana, a diocesan community-based health program that empowers and supports teenage mothers, applauding the initiative for restoring hope and transforming young lives.

Bishop Rose Okeno thanked CHAK for its continued partnership, noting that the collaboration has significantly strengthened healthcare delivery at ACK Namasoli Health Centre and improved access to quality healthcare for the community.

Dr. Chris Barasa commended the Diocese for its commitment to holistic healthcare and community empowerment, reaffirming CHAK’s commitment to supporting the Diocese through partnerships and programs that strengthen health systems and improve community health outcomes.
