Lay Reader Danstun Lilondo a man of integrity last respect

Dunstan Lilondo, a dedicated Diocesan Finance Chairperson and Lay Reader at St. Stephen’s Mulwanda Parish, was laid to rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Ebubiru Village, Mulwanda, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County.

During the funeral service, Bishop Rose paid tribute to Mr. Lilondo, highlighting his integrity, generosity, and wisdom. She acknowledged his significant contributions to enhancing the Diocese’s financial accountability and his unwavering support for many in their spiritual journeys. She also expressed gratitude to ACK St. Helens Githurai for their prayers and support for the family.

Reflecting on Mark 4:35–41, the Bishop urged Christians to place their trust in God during life’s challenges, emphasizing that fear can often overshadow faith in difficult times. She reassured the congregation that Jesus hears the cries of His people, that life’s storms bring believers closer to Christ, and that God remains sovereign and in control of every situation.

Mr. Lilondo will be fondly remembered for his devoted service to the Church, his steadfast commitment to integrity, and his dedication to advancing God’s work.
