Diocesan staff pose for a photo after visiting and condoling with Phanice’s family on Thursday, May 22, 2026
Ack Diocese of Butere staff together with the Bishop visited one of their staff member, Phanice Oluteyo (Diocesan bookshop attendant), who suddenly lost her mother Mama Martha Andeyo. Mama was a dedicated member of St. Peter’s Muyundi Church. She was promoted to glory on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Bishop Rose encouraged Phanice and her family to take heart, remain strong, and continue trusting in God, reminding them that God understands every season of life and has a purpose for all things. She urged the family to find comfort in God’s promises, noting that although the loss of a loved one brings great sorrow, the Lord remains close to the broken-hearted and grants strength to those who depend on Him. She also called upon relatives, friends, and the church community to stand with the bereaved family in prayer and support during this difficult time.
