On Friday, May 15, 2026, the ACK Diocese of Butere, in collaboration with St. Dunstan Episcopal, conducted the second groundbreaking ceremony for a water project in Lurale Village, Malava Constituency. The Chimoi community expressed profound gratitude to Bishop Rose Okeno and the Diocese for spearheading this initiative, which they described as a realization of a long-held aspiration.

During the event, the Very Rev. Moses Omoke delivered a sermon based on Exodus 17:1–6, underscoring the vital importance of water and encouraging the community to continually seek divine provision through prayer and faith in Christ. He also called upon Christians to address the needs of others and to actively engage in bringing more individuals to the church.

The community acknowledged the generosity and dedication demonstrated by St. Danstun Episcopal Church through the ACK Diocese of Butere, and eagerly anticipates the official launch upon the project’s completion.
