On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the Anglican Church of Kenya Diocese of Butere convened a special fellowship meeting for the male clergy spouses (husbands to female clergy) at Bakhoya House. The session was led by the Very Rev. Moses Omoke, who delivered an insightful teaching from Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, emphasizing the significance of unity, mutual support, and prayer in both marriage and ministry.

Rev. Omoke urged the attendees to understand and support their wives in their vocational callings, highlighting that ministry is most effectively fulfilled through partnership and encouragement. He also praised the clergy women for their dedication and exemplary service within the ministry.

The meeting was graced by the presence of the Men’s Ministry Coordinator, Rev. Stephen Onani, who expressed gratitude to the participants for attending and encouraged them to address family and church matters from a ministry-focused perspective rather than an administrative one.

The fellowship concluded with a collective commitment from the participants to fully support their spouses in their divine callings. Although the Patron, Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno, was unable to attend, members expressed their appreciation for her ongoing support and leadership in strengthening clergy families within the Diocese.
