The Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno has urged the 2025 Form Four candidates at Butere Girls High School to overcome challenging circumstances with resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement. Bishop Rose encouraged the students to invite God to accompany them as they prepare for their national examinations.
She extended her best wishes to this year’s candidates and commended Principal Madam Jennifer Omondi and her staff for fostering a high spiritual environment within the school.
In response, Principal Madam Omondi expressed her confidence that the Form Four class, known as the “Top Shooters,” will reach their target mean grade of 10.0. The visiting Bishop of the ACK Diocese of Kericho, Rt. Rev. Ernest Ngeno, in his sermon encouraged them to place their trust in God for success.

Drawing inspiration from 1 Chronicles 29:10-18, he emphasized that God is the source of success and highlighted the importance of seeking His guidance at all times. Bishop Ngeno’s sermon centered on a four-point agenda: acknowledging and giving credit where it is due, trusting in God for success, maintaining focus on one’s goals, and ensuring a strong and successful completion.
