The Right Reverend Rose Okeno has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the congregants of the ACK Diocese of Butere for their dedicated efforts in the just concluded 2025 Thanksgiving service. Bishop Rose extended her appreciation for the generous contributions made by the congregants during the service held at St. Luke’s Cathedral in Butere on Sunday October 26, 2025.

The diocese successfully raised money, which has been earmarked for the Diocesan development project in Kakamega. Her sentiments were echoed by the Diocesan Administrative Secretary, Reverend Canon Silas Hopillo, who also thanked the parish vicars for their efforts in motivating the congregants to participate in the Thanksgiving service.

The visiting speaker, Pastor Benjaline Akeng’a, underscored the importance of maintaining a spirit of gratitude for God’s blessings. Drawing inspiration from the book of Psalms 100, Pastor Benjaline encouraged the congregation to consistently embrace the essence of Thanksgiving as they seek God’s guidance.
