The Junior Academy Manyulia hosted a vibrant celebration for the graduation of PP2 students on Saturday afternoon, attended by parents and teachers. Parents, dressed in their finest attire, gathered at the school to honor their children’s achievements, purchasing flowers and gifts for the graduates. The graduation ceremony came a day after a similar ceremony at their sister school at Butere.
Local vendors at the school gate capitalized on the occasion by selling flowers, congratulatory cards, and other items. The event, held on the school grounds, marked the students’ transition from pre-primary to primary school next year.

Mrs. Lilian Pessa, Director of Junior Academy Manyulia, expressed her gratitude to the teachers for their dedication to academic excellence and talent development among the students. She also extended her appreciation to the ACK diocese of Butere under the leadership of the fourth Diocesan Bishop Rose Okeno, for sponsoring the school and providing spiritual guidance to the students.
Mrs. Pessa used the opportunity to advise parents to remain vigilant regarding their children’s internet usage, highlighting the adverse effects it can have on young learners, including a decline in academic performance.
