Bishop Rose Okeno has urged the staff of the ACK Diocese of Butere to dedicate themselves to God and serve with diligence. During a morning devotion service held at Eshimuli Guest House, the bishop highlighted the importance of revering God while performing their duties with the utmost integrity.
This devotion also served as a cleansing service following an incident in which unknown individual vandalized and stole property from one of the guest rooms. The motive behind this act remain unclear, but The Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno reassured the staff that they are under God’s protection and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities without fear.
The unusual incident occurred on Saturday evening, and the investigation into its motives is ongoing. The bishop advised the staff to exercise heightened vigilance and to enhance security measures as a precautionary step.
