Bishop Rose Okeno of the ACK Diocese of Butere has urged the newly confirmed candidates to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to serving God.

During the confirmation service held at Christ Church Emwiru Parish on Sunday, July 27, 2025, where 51 individuals were confirmed, the Rt. Rev. Okeno emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast in prayer.

Drawing inspiration from Genesis 18, the Bishop encouraged the congregation to intercede not only for themselves and their neighbors but also for the nation as a whole, in the pursuit of peace and harmony.

The service was attended by several notable leaders, including Ven. Canon Peter Andere, the Mulwanda Archdeacon, Rev. Richard Inganga, the Rural Dean of Khwisero Deanery, and Kisa North MCA James Etabale, among others. Their presence underscored the community’s commitment to spiritual growth and collective well-being.
