Lilian Pessa, the principal of Bukolwe Primary and Junior Secondary School, has called for unity among parents, teachers, and all stakeholders in the mission to nurture successful students.

Mrs. Pessa emphasized the critical role that parental support plays in guiding children to become responsible citizens in the future. She urged parents to ensure that all their children attend school, where they will receive the necessary guidance and nurturing.

Her remarks were made during the Bukolwe Primary and Junior Secondary School Education Day and Thanksgiving Service, held on the school grounds on Friday afternoon.

During the event, she expressed her gratitude to all teachers and parents for their unwavering dedication to the educational growth of the children.

“Through effective guidance and counseling, our school continues to instill good manners and positive values in our learners,” Mrs. Pessa stated. “Students who embrace discipline are on the path to becoming responsible and productive citizens.”

Bishop Rose Okeno of the ACK Diocese of Butere commended the school’s administration for its collaborative efforts with the church in educational matters.

Her message was delivered by the Diocesan Education Secretary, Rev. Canon Robert Matati, who represented her at the service and pledged ongoing pastoral support for the school.

Additionally, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Management, James Osiema, committed to steering the school toward academic excellence, reinforcing the collective vision for a brighter future for all students.

Together, with the support of parents, teachers, and the community, Bukolwe Primary and Junior Secondary School aims to cultivate an environment where every child can thrive and succeed.
