Two hundred seventy-two men have been officially commissioned into the Kenya Anglican Men Fellowship (KAMF) within the ACK Diocese of Butere. This fellowship aims to unite all Anglican men in an inclusive community that transcends boundaries and social status.
The commissioning service, held at ACK St. Luke’s Cathedral on Saturday, was presided over by Bishop Rose Okeno. In her sermon, she encouraged the newly commissioned KAMF members to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to serving God. Drawing inspiration from Deuteronomy chapter 10, Bishop Rose highlighted the significance of fearing, trusting, loving, and walking with God. She further urged the congregation to cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with God.

Rev. Steve Onani, the Diocesan Men’s Ministry Coordinator, expressed gratitude to Bishop Rose for leading the commissioning service. He emphasized that this fellowship not only empowers its members to serve God but also provides a platform for studying the Bible. Rev. Onani noted that KAMF represents a valuable opportunity to engage and reach more men within the community, fostering spiritual growth and fellowship.
