The Bishop of ACK Butere Diocese, Rose Okeno, has encouraged members of the diocesan council and subcommittees to carry out God’s ministry with a focus on the diocesan compass verse of building upon the foundation that has already been laid.
She emphasized the importance of having a clear vision for the future and developing strong leadership skills.
Bishop Okeno delivered this message during the two-day retreat for members of the ACK Diocese of Butere council and subcommittees, which concluded on Friday, October 2024 at AICMAR in Butere.
The retreat featured facilitators such as Canon Peter Adolwa, who covered topics on basic Anglicanism and building effective working relationships.
Additionally, Pastor Benjaline Akeng’a discussed the significance of women in leadership roles, while Dr. Edwin Amira provided insights on the importance of resource mobilization.
