Bishop Rose Okeno has encouraged this year’s candidates to remain steadfast and confident in the knowledge they have acquired in the last four years as they prepare for their national examinations.
She further advised them not to be anxious but in prayer thanksgiving present their desires to God.
Bishop Okeno delivered these words during a dedication service for one hundred and forty-three candidates at ACK Shinamwenyuli Secondary School on Tuesday morning.
Drawing from the epistles of Paul to Philippians, the bishop emphasized that God holds the solutions to all our problems, and that through prayer and thanksgiving, we will experience peace that passes human understanding.
Following the candidates’ prayers, Bishop Okeno also consecrated the newly renovated science laboratory and computer laboratory.
The school’s Principal, Samuel Ogolla, expressed optimism regarding his students’ performance in the upcoming national exams.
He confidently stated that his candidates had achieved third place in the entire sub-county in the recently concluded joint exams, indicating their potential for success in the national exams.
Mr. Ogolla is hopeful that his students will continue to excel and achieve impressive results.
