Khuchamane group graciously gifted seventeen women clergy members in the ACK diocese of Butere with 10 chicks and two kilograms of chick crumbs each.
Speaking to GGTV after a workshop hosted at AICMAR, Rev. Florence Aseka said that the project aims to empower and encourage women clergy in their ministry.
The female clergy see the Chicks project as a channel of income.
The workshop hosted by the Khuchamane group focused on enhancing economic skills and discussing the vision, values, and voice of women in leadership.
Bishop Rose praised the group for choosing to celebrate and empower women leaders.
