Gladys Pauline Auma has been inducted as the principal of Eshitari Secondary School in the Butere sub-county.
During the induction service presided over by bishop Rose Okeno at the school’s grounds on Tuesday foggy morning, Mrs. Auma pledged to fulfill her duties while upholding christian ethos, constitution, and education policy of the Anglican Church.
In her sermon Rt. Rev. Okeno encouraged the new principal to submit herself to the Lord as a vessel that God will use to transform her new station.
With reflection in the book of Exodus 18:13-26, the bishop challenged Mrs. Auma to remain focused and commit herself to the vision of improving the 350-student school to higher academic heights.
The induction service marked the beginning of a new educational chapter for the new Eshitari Secondary School principal, laying the foundation for her dedication to service, and upholding Christian faith receiving a prayer book and a bible to signify the spiritual foundation on which the school is laid.
