More than 80 teachers from ACK-sponsored primary schools in the diocese of Butere attended the PPI lesson training at St. Luke’s Cathedral.
The training centered on equipping the teachers with teaching the doctrine and the word of God in schools.
Dr. Josephine Ongoma, who facilitated the program said the teachers have been equipped with values that they will pass to pupils in schools to achieve societal transformation that will be demonstrated in three spheres.
Her sentiments were echoed by the ACK Butere diocesan secretary Canon Robert Matati who said that the teachers are very instrumental in the Christian life of pupils.
