CURTAINS CLOSE AT ACK LITURGY CONFERENCE IN LIMURU

The Anglican Church of Kenya liturgy conference has come to an end in Limuru, Kiambu County.

The conference was presided over by the Anglican Provincial Liturgy Committee and brought together bishops and some of the members of the clergy from the province.

Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno led the ACK Butere diocese delegation in the two-day conference which aimed at improving the altar for wholesome ministry to the nation.

Some of the key areas of discussion were worship and music as a vehicle for reaching children, youth, and adults, order and dignity in worship, lectionary use, emerging trends, and managing the altar.

Others who accompanied the bishop Okeno are provost The Very Rev. Moses Omoke, arch-deacon Ven. Canon Peter Andere, Rev. Jane Orembe, Rev. Fredrick Akali, Rev. Emily Mettah, Rev. Sammy Atsali and Rev. Everlyn Opanda.
