Induction of Ven. Daniel Inyangala at Buchenya Archdeaconry

The Ven. Daniel Inyangala has been inducted as the archdeacon of the Buchenya archdeaconry.
The induction service was conducted on Sunday morning by the Rt. Rev. Rose Okeno at ACK St. Mark’s Buchenya parish was attended by approximately 300 congregants.

During the service, Rev. Capt. Irene Kwamboka Ochieng’ was also inducted as a curate at ACK St. Mark’s Buchenya parish. Her role will be to assist the archdeacon at the parish. Besides her assignment at the parish, Rev. Kwamboka is also a chaplain at Buchenya Girls High School and Bukolwe Mixed Secondary School.

In her sermon, Rt. Rev. Okeno preached on the miraculous ways of how God works.
The Bishop’s message based on 1 Samuel 16: 1-13 highlighted the dangers of disobedience, self-seeking, arrogance, and pride.
“King Saul was rejected by God because of such vices”, she said.
The fourth diocesan Bishop also emphasized that God can use anybody to accomplish His mission so long as their heart is right.
