In her address during today’s KAMA AGM, the Bishop drew inspiration from Acts 6:3 alongside the question “Where are you?” from Genesis 3:9, prompting a multifaceted reflection on the association’s spiritual direction. Just as the early Christians selected leaders “full of the Spirit and wisdom” to fulfill their duties, the Bishop urged KAMA members to elect leaders of integrity and spiritual maturity. This emphasis on character echoed throughout her address, emphasizing the need for leaders who not only embody the values of the Anglican Church of Kenya but also prioritize service and humility. The intersection of Acts 6:3 and the question “Where are you?” served as a compelling call for introspection, renewal, and a rededication to KAMA’s mission of spiritual growth, fellowship, and service within the Diocese of Butere.
