Rev. Dennis Khayongo, the vicar of ACK St. Joseph’s Elukaka Parish in the Diocese of Butere, is calling on Christians to have unwavering faith in the word of God. He emphasized that the primary duty of Christians is to trust in God’s word. Rev. Khayongo highlighted that God acts in His perfect timing, underscoring the importance of continuous belief and trust in Him.
During a Sunday service at his parish, Rev. Khayongo drawing inspiration from the gospel of Luke chapter 1 verse 5, encouraged Christians to maintain their faith in God, regardless of the challenges they encounter. He reminded the congregation that being a Christian does not guarantee an easy life, but it is essential to trust and believe in God, who has good plans for them.

Additionally, Rev. Khayongo, who also serves as the chairperson of the clergy in the Diocese of Butere, stressed that success is unattainable without God, and believers must have faith for Him to guide their path. He also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the parish congregation for their dedication and commitment to God’s ministry.
