Bishop Rose Okeno presided over the fifteenth ordinary session of the Synod meeting for the ACK Diocese of Butere, encouraging members to walk by faith rather than by sight. She underscored the significance of discerning God’s movements, establishing a clear vision, communicating effectively, leading with integrity, and upholding obedience.

The Diocesan Synod, the highest governing body of the Diocese, consists of all canonically resident clergy in good standing and two lay delegates from each parish, convening biennially. Bishop Rose expressed her gratitude to the members for their active participation in ministry and their unwavering dedication to service, which has contributed to the spiritual and developmental growth of the diocese.

The fifteenth ordinary session of the Synod is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
