The ACK Diocese of Butere bid farewell to Dr. Prince Singh and his wife, Atoholi, who have spent the past week touring the diocese.

During his visit, Dr. Prince highlighted the inspiring initiatives he encountered, commending the projects initiated by Diocesan Bishop Rose Okeno that have positively impacted the lives of congregants. He specifically praised the poultry projects led by young mothers and widows, as well as the agricultural initiatives undertaken by the youth.

Additionally, he spoke about the well-structured Butere Community Development Trust model, which aims to enhance savings and investment within the community. Dr. Prince encouraged the ACK Diocese to view itself not as a small entity, but as a privileged team capable of executing significant and influential plans. “You are not small; remember that Jesus taught great lessons using humble means,” he remarked.

He commended the community of the ACK Diocese of Butere for their strong spiritual ownership of the diocese. Furthermore, Dr. Prince expressed his intention to support and collaborate closely with youth and widows to promote growth through shared learning experiences.

He commended the mentorship programs in the Diocese of Butere, likening their impact to a solar power that fosters growth in others. Dr. Prince and his wife, Atoholi, are en route to the Anglican Church of Tanzania in the Diocese of Mara, where they are scheduled to tour for one week.
