Dr. Prince Singh Visits ACK Diocese of Butere

Dr. Prince Singh has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Diocese of Butere for their dedicated pastoral work in the ministry of God.Dr. Prince who is touring the Diocese of Butere, highlighted the significant impact of various projects that have created safe spaces for vulnerable populations.

Notably, he praised initiatives such as the tailoring program for teenage and young mothers and the poultry project designed to support widows in the diocese, initiated by the fourth bishop Rose Okeno.
Accompanied by his wife, Atoholi Yepthomi, Dr. Prince underscored the importance of leveraging these initiatives to further the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to enrich the local community.

His familiarization tour commenced on Monday morning at the Diocesan offices, where he was welcomed by his host Bishop Rose and the Diocesan Administrative Secretary, the Reverend Canon Silas Hopillo, he visited several key facilities, including the Digital and Communication Office, the Canon Awori Garment Making Project, the AICMAR Library, and the Cathedral compound.

In the afternoon, he was hosted by Bishop Rose Okeno and Vice Chairperson of the Diocesan Standing Committee, James Amukhale, to discuss ongoing initiatives and future collaborations. Dr. Prince’s visit not only reinforced the bonds between the dioceses but also inspired a collective commitment to serve the community through faith-based initiatives.

During his visit to the Diocese of Butere, Dr. Prince aims to establish partnerships that will further God’s ministry and enhance community development. Bishop Rose Okeno, warmly welcomed Dr. Prince and expressed her gratitude for his presence in the diocese.

She encouraged him to engage openly with the congregation, fostering meaningful interactions. Bishop Rose remains optimistic about the transformative power of faith, believing that God will bring about spiritual, economic, and political renewal within the communities they serve.

Throughout his week-long stay, Dr. Prince is scheduled to meet with various groups within the diocese, furthering the mission of empowerment and collaboration. Dr. Prince is at the forefront of a new initiative called Way Out, which focuses on empowering single women, particularly widows, and youth from marginalized communities in India, Africa, and beyond. The organization addresses the critical challenges these groups face, including limited access to education, entrepreneurship, and leadership opportunities.
