The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Diocese of Butere, under the leadership of Bishop Rose Okeno, is pleased with the quality of patient services being provided at ACK Masaba Dispensary in Butere sub-county.

Bishop Okeno commended the laboratory services offered to patients at the hospital, recognizing the positive impact it has on service delivery.

During a surprise visit to the facility on Wednesday afternoon, she was warmly welcomed by the hospital staff, who shared that patient numbers have increased since the addition of a clinical officer and a laboratory technician.

Led by Nurse in Charge Neria Itambo, the staff are now considering expanding services to include maternity care, in addition to mother-to-child services currently available.

Furthermore, the installation of a security fence around the hospital compound has ensured the safety of all patients and staff.

Bishop Okeno was impressed by the progress made at the facility and encouraged the community in the Marama South Ward to take advantage of the services offered at the dispensary.
