The ACK Butere Diocesan Digital and Communication Department has received a generous donation of twenty-five thousand shillings from Mulembe FM. This donation will be used to acquire equipment necessary for livestreaming services, a crucial addition to the department’s operations.
During a Sunday service at ACK St. Luke’s Cathedral, Pamela Kadima, the head of Radio at Mulembe FM, presented the cash donation and expressed her satisfaction with the Diocesan digital and communication department’s plans to utilize digital spaces effectively.
Kadima also commended Diocesan Bishop Rose Okeno for her leadership in outlining the department’s goals.
In addition to the monetary donation, Mulembe FM contributed an extra five thousand shillings towards the completion of a modern ablution block at the St. Luke’s Cathedral bringing the total contribution from the local Luhya station to thirty thousand shillings.
Bishop Rose Okeno of the ACK Diocese of Butere expressed gratitude to Mulembe FM for their generous donation and encouraged them to continue trusting in God for provision.
Pamela Kadima was joined by her colleagues Stanley Nyamwata, Stella Omusula, and Kefa Juma, as well as hundreds of fans who attended the Sunday service.
This visit by the station is part of their ongoing efforts to engage with loyal listeners at the grassroots level.
