It is imperative for Christians to implement effective strategies in order to succeed in spreading the word of God. This sentiment was emphasized by the Butere ACK Diocesan Administrative Secretary, Reverend Canon Silas Hopillo. He stressed that by following proper strategies and adhering to instructions in ministry, Christians can achieve their goals in serving God.
During the induction service for new parish warden executives and PCC members within Mulwanda Archdeaconry on February 27, 2025, held at ACK St. James Emahene parish, Canon Hopillo highlighted the importance of focusing on God’s ministry, drawing inspiration from the book of Joshua 3. He pointed out that many Christians and church leaders have failed in their ministry due to a lack of obedience to instructions.
The two-day induction service was designed to help new parish officials understand their roles and responsibilities. Parish wardens will collaborate closely with parish vicars to address any challenges that may arise within the church. Similarly, PCC members are expected to support and work alongside parish vicars in promoting the development of the church and spreading the gospel effectively.

The new parish executives were also educated on the Diocesan vision of transforming the Christian community to meet the needs of society, as well as the mission of advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ by proclaiming, renewing, and discipling.
The induction service was also attended by Reverend Ven. Canon Peter Andere, Mulwanda Archdeacon, Reverend Richard Inganga, Rural Dean of Khwisero Deanery, Reverend Harrison Mirikau, Rural Dean of Shiraha Deanery, and his Namasoli’s counterpart Reverend Jane Orembe among others.
