Mark 10:14 reminds us that we are meant to be providers for little children because the kingdom of God belongs to them.

Twenty-two students from Shiraha Primary, Butayi Primary, Shirakalu Primary, Emusunguri Primary, and Shiraha Secondary School were generously given uniform donations by the ACK Shiraha Parish Education Board.

Mr. Peter Ambenje, the board’s Vice Chairperson, expressed that this initiative aims to ensure that students have their basic needs met. He called upon the community to show their support for this wonderful cause.

After distributing the uniforms at the ACK Shiraha Parish grounds, Mr. Ambenje shared his determination to continue this yearly program, with the goal of eventually assisting with school fees as well.

Reverend Harrison Mirikau, the parish’s vicar, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the diocesan mission of addressing societal needs.

Phelister Afande, a parent of one of the beneficiaries, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the ACK Shiraha Parish Education Board for their incredible initiative.

The community’s support and generosity are truly making a difference in the lives of these students.
