Bishop Rose Okeno officially received the KAMA trophy won during the ACK Western Region conference in Katakwa in August 2024.

Bishop Okeno praised the ACK Butere Diocese KAMA representatives who attended the conference for flying the flag high and competitively winning the award.

While receiving the trophy at the diocesan head office in Butere, the bishop also praised the diocesan KAMA office for achieving proper organizational leadership aimed at steering the men’s ministry to higher heights.

“We have seen a positive spirit within the (KAMA) department… We continue to pray for them,” acknowledged bishop Okeno.

The trophy was presented by the diocesan KAMA chairman Patrick Ambunya, accompanied by coordinator Rev. Steve Onani, Secretary Rodgers Chite, and treasurer David Aloyo.

The ACK Butere diocese KAMA department won the trophy after being rated the best overall among the regional conference participants and it is the first of its kind in the ACK Butere diocese.
