Hundreds of people were treated to an atmosphere of fun and celebration during the Namasoli Women’s Day at Namasoli primary school on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
The sporting activity which brought together all the church congregants of ACK Namasoli parish together with the other members of the community was characterized by the ladies’ teams participating in legball, volleyball, and netball.
ACK Namasoli parish Vicar Rev. Jane Orembe said they are using sports as an evangelistic opportunity to reach people and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Speaking to GG24 TV , Rev. Orembe was delighted by the turnout and emphasized to the importance of sports as an alternative way of bringing the church to people outside the usual four traditional walls.
The Vicar said that they have created strong teams capable of competing at the diocese level.
