Today The Rt. Revd Rose Okeno officiated the successful completion of phase 1 of the Canon Awori Tailoring and Garment-making project! Congratulations to the pioneer class of 21 students for their dedication and hard work over the past 12 months.
This is a significant milestone, marking not only the end of their training but also the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. With the skills and knowledge they’ve acquired, these students are now equipped to pursue careers in tailoring and garment-making, empowering them to create better futures for themselves and their communities.
As the next intake begins on April 15th, 2024, it’s exciting to think about the new group of students who will have the opportunity to benefit from this transformative program.
With each new class, the Canon Awori Tailoring project continues to sow the seeds of hope and empowerment, making a tangible difference in the lives of those it serves.
