A good plan can be likened to a detailed road map that not only reveals the final destination but also highlights the most optimal route to reach it.
Recently, delegates representing key stakeholders gathered at St. Luke’s Cathedral for public participation in the formulation of the Diocesan Strategic Plan. The represented groups included primary school headteachers, high school principals, Abamarama Council of elders, Canons, House of Laity, Eshimuli Guest House Board, and Namasoli Health Centre Board.
Mr. Ambenje, Vice Chair of the Development Committee, expressed his contentment with the event, stating that the draft Diocesan Strategic Plan was warmly received. The stakeholders actively participated and offered valuable insights to enhance the draft, which is now undergoing updates based on their inputs. Mr. Ambenje also noted that some of the provided details would be essential during the implementation of the projects.
The Diocesan Strategic Plan is on track to be officially launched on this year. With the collective efforts and collaboration of all stakeholders, this plan will pave the way for a bright and purposeful future for the Diocese.
